If you are departing from the USA or Canada, you will take an overnight flight to Zagreb, Croatia arriving on Sunday, October 14. If you are departing from another country, please arrange to arrive in Zagreb by the afternoon of Sunday, October 14. (See Flight Arrangements page).

Arrival in Zagreb. Group transfer from the airport to the hotel. Orientation in our hotel at 6:00 P.M., followed by a group dinner. Accommodations in Zagreb at the Hotel Dubrovnik. |

October 15, 2012 |
Breakfast. This morning we will tour Zagreb's Old Town as well as seeing the site of the Great Synagogue. Then, crossing the border into Slovenia, we tour its capital city of Ljubljana in the afternoon, including visiting the Old Town Castle and viewing the Triple Bridge. Two nights accommodations in Ljubljana at the Hotel Dubrovnik. |

Breakfast. Our day begins by taking a boat ride on Lake Bled to Bled Island Time to explore this beautiful island, followed by some free time in the town of Bled before returning to Ljubljana. |

Breakfast. Returning to Croatia, we have a panoramic tour of the old ports of Opatija and Rijeka. Visits to the Rijeka synagogue and Jewish cemetery will be included in our sightseeing. Accommodations in Rijeka at the Grand Hotel Bonavia. |

Breakfast. On this day we will visit the Plitvice Lakes National Park , the most scenic inland destination in Croatia. Continue to Zadar. Accommodations in Zadar at the Hotel Kolovare. |

Breakfast. Our Zadar city tour will take place this morning. Among the sights will be the unique sea organ which uses wave action to play musical notes. Travel to Split in the late afternoon. Two nights accommodations in Split at the Art Hotel. |

Breakfast. Our day begins with a city tour of Split. Highlighlights will include our visits to the Diocletian's Palace (carvings in it indicate an historic Jewish presence there), listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site, the synagogue and the former Jewish ghetto.
In the afternoon we will visit Ston, an unusual town with two layers of defensive walls, including a Chinese-style "great wall" zigzagging on the hillsides above the town. Our day concludes in Dubrovnik. Accommodations for two nights in Dubrovnik at the Hotel Valamar Lacroma Resort. |

Breakfast. This morning we have our city tour of picturesque Dubrovnik. Included will be a visit to the synagogue and the Jewish quarter.
