Arrival in San Francisco. Since tour members will be arriving at different times, there will not be a group transfer from the San Francisco airport to our hotel. Taxi and shuttle services are available. The tour begins at the hotel. Meet you tour manager and fellow tour members at our orientation/welcome reception at our hotel at 9:15 P.M. Beverages and light refreshments will be served. Accommodations at the Pickwick Hotel.

Sunday, |
Breakfast. Traveling north along the beautiful California coast, we arrive in the pristine coastal village of Sausalito. Time to explore the downtown, waterfront and hiking trails. In the afternoon we will visit Medocino, a quaint oceanside town. A stop at the Mendocino Headlands State Park will be included.Accommodations in Fort Bragg, CA at the Holiday Inn Express. |

Monday, |
Breakfast. Our day begins driving along the Avenue of the Giants, a world-famous portion of Old Highway 101, boasting the largest remaining virgin redwoods in the world. We continue to Trinadad, a colorful seaside town in Redwood National Park and to the Trees of Mystery. Time for hiking and sightseeing. Accommodations in Crescent City, CA at the Best Western Northwoods Inn. |

Tuesday, |
Breakfast. This morning we will enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Oregon Coast. In the afternoon we will visit Florence, Oregon, the most picturesque city in the region. It's Historic Old Town is especially unique. From here there will also be an opportunity for a dune buggy ride in the Oregon Dunes (optional). Accommodations in Florence, OR at the Driftwood Shores Resort. |

Breakfast. This morning we will arrive in Salem. After visiting the state capitol building, we will continiue to Silver Falls State Park, the largest state park in Oregon. Silver Falls is a temperate rain forest and home to ten magnificent waterfalls. Accommodations in Portland, OR at the Silver Cloud Inn. |

Thursday |
Breakfast. Today we visit Mount St. Helens, the volcano best known for its legendary eruption in 1980. Time for sightseeing and hiking. Accommodations in Chehalis, WA at the Best Western Park Place Inn. |

Friday, |
Breakfast. This morning we arrive at Mount Rainier, known as the "mountain of fire and ice". It is the most prominent peak in the Cascade mountain range and, like Mount St. Helens, an active volcano. There are 26 major glaciers on Mount Rainier. Time for sightseeing and hiking. Two nights accommodations in Seattle, WA at the Quality Inn. |
