Saturday, |
Arrival in Reno. If you need assistance arranging your transportation to Reno, we will be glad to help you. Since tour members will be arriving at different times, there will not be a group transfer from the Reno/ Tahoe International Airport to the hotel. Taxi and shuttle services are available. The tour begins at the hotel. Meet your tour manager and fellow tour members at our welcome reception at the hotel at 9:30 P.M. Accommodations for two nights at Harrah's Reno.
If you plan to arrive in Reno before Saturday, July 9, ask us about arranging hotel accommodations for you. |

Sunday, |
Breakfast. Today we travel to Lake Tahoe. In the morning we will explore this spectacular resort town on the Nevada/California border. This afternoon we will be transported to Zephyr Cove for a picturesque sightseeing cruise on Lake Tahoe. |

Monday, |
Breakfast. Our first stop today will be at Bodie Ghost Town, located at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. You will see the best preserved Western mining town from the California gold rush days and learn about its history. Then we will continue on to Mono Lake, famous for its tufa formations. (Tufas are a soft porous rock consisting of calcium carbonate deposited from springs rich in lime.) Our day concludes with several photo stops at panoramic view points along scenic Hwy. 120, en route to Yosemite. Two nights accommodations at the Yosemite View Lodge. |

Tuesday, |
Breakfast. We will spend today at Yosemite Valley in Yosemite National Park. Here we will see amazing scenery; roaring waterfalls, towering mountains, and much more! Our morning will include a photo stop at breathtaking El Capitan and an easy hike to cascading Bridal Veil Falls. There will be free time this afternoon for a variety of optional activities including biking, horseback riding, hiking and rafting. In the early evening, we will have a short hike at Glacier Point before returning to our hotel. |

Wednesday, |
Breakfast. Today we continue our visit to Yosemite National Park, spending the morning at Yosemite Village. There will be time for the visitor's center, hiking, museums and shopping. This afternoon we travel to Napa Valley, California's world famous wine country. Accommodations at The Chateau Hotel. |

Thursday, |
Breakfast. This morning we will have a tour of two of the leading wineries in this region, Beringer and V. Sattui. This afternoon we continue to San Francisco. We will cross the bay via the magnificent Golden Gate Bridge and then enjoy an orientation tour. Three nights accommodations at the Powell Hotel. |

Friday, |
Breakfast. Today you are free to explore this wonderful city on your own. You may want to spend time at legendary Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39, take a boat trip to historic Alcatraz, go hiking in impressive Muir Woods or visit the pristine waterfront village of Sausalito. |

Saturday, |
Breakfast. Day at leisure. Farewell reception at 6:00 P.M. Beverages and light refreshments will be served. |
