| Thursday, August 1 |
Complimentary group transfer from the airport to the hotel. (Private transfer at cost.) Group orientation in the hotel at 6:00 P.M., followed by a group dinner. Accommodations for four nights at the Hotel Nunez de Urgell. |
| Friday, August 2 |
Breakfast. City tour of Barcelona, including a visit to the Spanish Village and Gaudi's Sagrada Familia. |
| Saturday, August 3 | Breakfast. Day at leisure. |
| Sunday, August 4 |
Breakfast. Our
day begins with a tour of Girona, an ancient Jewish town buried
underground for hundreds of years. Then we drive to Figueres to
visit the Teatre-Museu Dali (Dali Theatre-Museum).

| Monday, August 5 |
Breakfast. This morning
we travel to Carcassonne, one of France's best preserved medieval walled
cities. We continue to Pont du Gard to see the 2000 year old Roman
Aquaduct. Our day concludes in Avignon. Accommodations for
three nights at the Bristol Hotel.

| Tuesday, August 6 |
Breakfast.
Morning tour of Avignon, including the Palais de Papes (Palace of Popes)
and the Bridge of "Sur le Pont" fame. In the afternoon,
we visit Aix-en-Provence, the old capital city of Provence, immortalized
by its celebrated son, Paul Cezanne.

| Wednesday, August 7 |
Breakfast. Today
we visit Nimes and Arles. In Nimes we will see the Roman
Ampitheatre, Maison Carre, one of the best preserved Roman temples in
Europe and the Fontaine Gardens. Arles was the scene of many paintings
by Van Gogh and Gauguin.

| Thursday, August 8 |
Breakfast. We
depart for the Grand Canyon of Verdon, one of the most picturesque
sites in all of France. We continue to St. Paul de Vence where
we will visit Fondation Maeght. On a hill in pine-studded woods,
it is like a Shangri-la. Our day ends in Nice.
Accommodations for
three nights at the Massena Hotel.

| Friday, August 9 |
Breakfast. We stop in Eze, one of the most beautiful villages on the Riviera, on our way to touring Monaco (Monte Carlo), the internationally famous principality on the Mediterranean. |
| Saturday, August 10 | Breakfast. Day at leisure. Late afternoon farewell get-together. |
| Sunday, August 11 | Breakfast. Complimentary group transfer to the airport. (Private transfer at cost.) Homebound flights. |
